    Description

8" by 12" color print of Northwest Airlines Convair 580 N3430 at MSP in July 1987.  This Convair was delivered new to Philippine Airlines in 1954 as a CV-340.  It went to Braniff in 1955 and then to Alaska Airlines in 1961.  North Central Airlines purchased it and converted it to a CV-580 in 1969.  It then went on to Republic and Northwest through mergers and stayed in the fleet until 1994.  It then went on to fly in Venezuela and was withdrawn from use in 1999.

All prints are professionally scanned from slides unless noted otherwise,  and printed on high quality FUJIFILM Lustre Finish Photo Paper.  Imperfections, dirt, and dust from original image have been removed where possible, and color and fade correction made as needed.  EBay image is a low resolution scan.  Actual prints are sharper and have better color than eBay scans.  Most prints are borderless, however due to cropping and format variations some may have a small white border.****
