    Description

This listing is for 2 Israeli Silver Plate Souvenir Spoons. One is dated 1948 and the other is probably from around the same time period.
    1) This spoon has the year 1942 at the top of the handle above the Star of David or Magen David and the picture's of a baby's head. Down the length of the handle it reads "BIRTH OF ISRAEL". The back of this spoon is marked "LITVIN SILVER PLATE". Length is 6 1/8".
    2) At the top of the handle is Star of David and a 7-branch Menorah which is one of the symbols of the State of Israel. Below that is a depiction of the Torah with a quote in Hebrew and the 10 Commandments divided by a shofar. Below that are 2 kiddish cups and 2 grape bunches. Marked on the back "MICHAEL C. FINA CO. 1 W 47 ST N.Y.C." Length is 5 15/16".
Both spoons are in wonderful condition but the first spoon has just a little wear to the silver plating in the bowl.
